1.1 Remote
Usable when connected to the server.
Delete --- Delete seledted files or directories on the host.
New Directory... --- Create a new directory on the host.
Permission... --- Change permisson of a file or directory on the host.
Copy URL --- Copy the URL of a file or a directory on the host to the pasteboard.
2 Window
2.1 YariTori Connect
Displays at start up.
List on the left --- List of saved settings
Title --- Appears on the list at left.
Host --- hostname and domain separeted by periods, or IP address.
User --- Login name to the host.
Password --- Password for login to the host.
Timeout --- Mximum time (secs.) to wait the responce of the hostl.
Encoding --- Character encoding of the host
Path --- The directory of the host to show on connection.
Local directory --- The local directory shown at file open or save.
Log --- Path of the log file.
Hide .* --- Do not show files that starts with '.'.
Detail --- Displays type, permission, owner, group, size, and modification time of files.
Convert CR to LF in sending --- Convert end of line character from CR to LF in sending files.
Passive --- Connects in passive mode. You need to check it if ports are restricted by a firewall, or using private network address.
Connect --- Connect to the host. After showing the message "Connecting...", if success, the window with the name of the host appears.
Add --- Add the current setting to the list at left.
Default --- Set the selected setting of the list as default, and move it to the top of the list.
Remove --- Remove the selected setting from the list.
2.2 < Host name: path >
Pushing Conect button in the Connect window, and after successfully connected, the window titled with the name of the host and remote path appears.
List at bottom --- List of the files and the directories at the current path. Small folder icon appears at left of directories. If you check "Detail" switch button in "Connect by YariTori" window, type, permission, owner, group, size, and modification time also appears. Drag&Drop files from Finder to this list uploads them. Drag&Drop list items from the list to the Finder(or other applications) opens the save dialog to specify folder to save (because finder does not receive directly), then download files.
Buttons on the toolbar:
- Up --- Move to the upper directory
- Open --- Move to the selected directory
- Get --- Download the selected files and directories.
- Put --- Upload files or directories.
- Disconnect --- Disconnect with the host.
